Systematic Covered Writing... more than just covered calls!
What is the charge for the 'proprietary' selection system?
Many 'pay to view, or use' Web sites boast of their proprietary system for selecting stocks. Again, if their system is so good, why don't they have a data base of every position established both active and closed, so that the viewer can evaluate the software. Not just some isolated 'killer' transaction, but every single suggestion ever made. That would be a Web site worth viewing. Think about it. If the software is so good, then why aren’t there hundreds of examples of previous suggestions that worked? The answer is quite simple . . . Nobody Knows.
Stocks that were great to write calls against a year ago may not be so great now. Instead of suggesting that Systematic Covered Writing has some unique way of selecting stocks, the Nobody Knows principle is stressed and asset diversification is strongly recommended. In other words, rather than emphasizing how great the basket is, Systematic Covered Writing emphasizes not putting all the eggs in the same basket
